Heat insulation

Nowadays, it is becoming more and more necessary to reduce energy waste and lower the consumption of gas to heat or electricity to cool rooms. The ideal would be to have good insulation so as to reduce the heat flow between two rooms with different temperatures and have houses that are warm in winter and cool in summer. Adriatica Sud performs heat insulation of houses, flats, offices for walls, ceilings, bedrooms.

Heat insulation for homes

Thermal insulation and thermal-acoustic insulation work from the outside sometimes involves high costs, very often due to the characteristics and type of the buildings or the lack of agreement between all the apartment blocks.

Internal thermal insulation, on the other hand, is a viable alternative to the external heat insulation system.

Insulating ceilings and walls in the home is a widely used practice to improve comfort and cut utility bills through significant energy savings.

Thermal insulation works give excellent results whether you want to insulate a flat, a house, a townhouse or an office.

Having a well-insulated house allows us not only to save on our utility bills but also to live in it better: the house will heat or cool faster and maintain the temperature for a long time.

Adriatica Sud deploys the best technologies and materials to carry out thermal insulation work to reduce heat loss and increase the level of interior insulation, ensuring a cosy climate in both summer and winter.

Adriatica Sud develops customised proposals and solutions to improve the climatic comfort of a building. The most commonly used insulation materials:

Rock mineral wool

It is one of the most widely used thermal insulators in construction due to its great qualities. Thanks to its downy macroscopic structure, this material is able to retain large quantities of air, insulating buildings very well against heat and dampening noise.

Polyurethane

It is considered one of the best insulating materials that allows for excellent results with very little space. This material is very often used for internal thermal coats as it allows the best results with less loss of space than other solutions.

Polyurethane can be found both in panels to be laid within the structure of walls, counter walls and false ceilings and also as panels coupled with plasterboard to be glued directly onto the parts to be insulated.

Extruded Expanded Polystyrene (XLS) and Sintered Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

An extremely effective material consisting of organic synthetic cellular material that is produced from polystyrene granules.

Cork

Cork panels are widely used for thermal insulation as they provide an excellent result and high insulation in a small thickness and using a completely natural material.

The advantages of thermal insulation:

  • It reduces energy costs for heating in winter and air conditioning in summer;
  • Prevents condensation;
  • It significantly limits the mould problem;
  • It protects walls from deterioration;
  • It guarantees access to tax relief of up to 65% provided by law.
